NYC MeshWorks LLC supports the non-profit organization NYC Mesh Inc, the nation's largest community-owned Wi-Fi network.
NYC MeshWorks LLC supports the non-profit organization NYC Mesh Inc, the nation's largest community-owned Wi-Fi network.
Since 2013, NYC Mesh has grown rapidly to include more than 1,000 households throughout the five boroughs. Driven by volunteers, NYC Mesh is scaling up operations as it helps to implement the NYC Internet Master Plan. Through its participation in the "Broadband NYC" initiative (RFP), NYC Mesh works to provide new affordable broadband alternatives in NYC. In order to facilitate this expansion, NYC MeshWorks LLC serves as an interface to municipal agencies, contractors, installers, and vendors in addition to providing project management, administrative services, and technical support.
